TBS will audit the system for any discrepancies that occurred during Open Enrollment. After system is audited, we will manually populate Open Enrolment File templates or send file via SFTP (if in production). After Open Enrollment files are populated, we will resume scheduled production files to carriers.
At the end of each month, TBS loads the group’s premium remittance into our proprietary billing system (OneCheck) to audit for accuracy, ensuring that payments are made to carriers appropriately for in-force coverage according to the enrollment system. Any discrepancies are reported to the group for resolution and corrections are made in the group’s payroll system as needed. Once payments are confirmed by the group, TBS produces comprehensive remittance detail reports and submits them with the group’s payment to the carriers for processing.
After Open Enrollment, day-to-day employment & demographic changes are made in the benefit platform (Selerix, EN, Zevo) either by the group directly or via file imports from the group’s payroll system. Weekly scheduled production files will transmit demographic & enrollment data to carriers for immediate processing. Payroll deduction changes resulting from enrollment activity will be reported to the group on a schedule and in a format as requested by the group. Throughout the year, the TBS deducted account executive helps the group with processing changes, any technical issues, billing issues, and file transmission issues.
